ROLE

An individual project with UX and UI conceptualized and designed.

CLIENT OVERVIEW

Kickstart is a company which imports and distributes dietary supplements, over-the-counter drugs and healthcare products. Due to their products combination of the highest quality and effectiveness, Kickstart constant to grow rapidly by selling their products around North America.

We built the Kickstart landing page. This is a page for buying dietary supplements.

PROBLEM SPACE

How could we better design a Web Landing Page for a dietary supplement distributor to attract their customers involving them to buy authentic products from Kickstart?

USER INTERVIEW

I conducted user interviews with 6 participants. My choice for user interview because it gives an insight into what users think about a site, an application, a product, or a process. They can point out what site content is memorable, what people feel is important on the site, and what ideas for improvement they may have.

QUESTIONNAIRES TO CLIENT

With this method it helps me to extract information from client about their Business goals, their competitors and end user/ customers needs.

CONTENT GATHERING

Content can change the shape of your design, this method precisely shows what have to be added in the landing page from Top Navigation bar, Headline, Sections, to Footer.

EVALUATION

Evaluation by questions conducted with 2 participants. To begin the study, participants were given series of questions to complete.

RESULTS

With the initial methods from the client answers. I predicted that the system should be built with the following strategies:

  • Showcase their products, items detailed contents and their certifications for authenticity

  • Client testimonials and body transformation involving real results

  • Attractive color combinations on the website with rich colors

 

I incorporated the design layout with gatherings, and sections are as follows:

  • Section 1: Powerful content written to get the user attention for ordering

  • Section 2: Couple of authentic details should be popped out for user choice

  • Section 3: Other products  and their importance

  • Section 4: Client feedback with testimonials and their transformations

  • Section 5: List of supplements used in a specific product, Ingredients

  • Section 6: Certifications listed, that products are authorized to sell

  • Section 7: Subscribe to get daily or weekly email notification and enquire dialog box on related products

LOW FIDELITY WIREFRAMES

I developed wireframes for web design, set of interactions wireframes supported for mobile design.

FINAL DESIGN

For this Landing page, I used Adobe Photoshop to create final design/wireframes from Balsamiq mockups. (Download final design-Website)

TAKEAWAYS AND NEXT STEPS

  • Work needs to be done to expand on the other information architects, interactions on the page, subscribe and enquire email section, order now buttons, responsive design, and development.

  • Fail fast, fail early - Build/develop a tangible responsive web page quickly and test with real users.

  • Getting continuous feedback in all stages from users is critical for the success of the product.
